Agent ambition must fit context window, latency budget, and compute constraints.
Designing an agent to ingest 100 documents, cross-reference them, and produce a legal brief in one turn is fantasy if your context window is 128K and your compute budget is measured in cents per call. The "blanket" is your hard constraints. Shard the task, reduce the scope, or upgrade the infrastructure—but do not pretend the constraint doesn't exist.
