Race conditions between agent reasoning and environment state.
The agent reads a database state, plans an action, but by the time it acts, the state has changed. The "rabbit" is the ground truth; the "hound" is the agent's stale context. Without optimistic locking, versioning, or idempotent operations, the agent operates on ghosts. Every read-modify-write sequence must assume the world moved while it was thinking.
